Thank you for attending the Beth El Bash!

What a night! From cocktails, a nail-biting finish for our FAU Owls, to dinner, a compelling program, desserts and dancing, it is our sincerest hope that the night met and even exceeded your expectations.

Your most generous support of the Beth El Bash surpassed our goals for the evening… we were able to exceed an ambitious goal by over $250,000! That is simply amazing. YOU are simply amazing.

Thank you again to all our incredible sponsors, event committee, attendees and substantial contributors to the fundraising efforts during the evening.

Your generous support for the Beth El Bash and Temple Beth El will enable us to complete the refurbishment of our sacred space, the Rabbi Merle E. Singer Sanctuary. Our plans for our renovations are underway, and we look forward to the summer of 2024 when we will commence our renovation work. We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating many milestones, life-cycle events and occasions in our refurbished sanctuary.

IN THE BOOK OF EXODUS, GOD CALLS US:
“Make for me a sanctuary, and I will dwell among you.”

Temple Beth El is the magnet that draws our community together into a holy congregation – where we come together for life’s most sacred moments – to celebrate miracles and joys and to mourn losses and comfort those who grieve.

The Rabbi Merle E. Singer Sanctuary was dedicated in 2005 in recognition of Rabbi Singer’s lifetime of dedicated service to Temple Beth El, our Jewish community, and the Jewish people.

Sheila and Dick Asher generously led our efforts to modernize and renovate the sanctuary with the addition of Jerusalem stone, a reconstructed bima and iconic ark, new electrical systems, lighting, sound, and more.

For our sanctuary to continue to be a space of comfort and inspiration, we must  complete the work left unfinished. Our aging seats are overdue for replacement. A state-of-the-art system for the hearing-impaired needs to be installed, which will require extensive floor work and the replacement of our carpeting.

Like our ancestors who brought their gifts to build a sanctuary in the wilderness, we thank you for joining us on April 1, 2023 as we unite to enhance and improve our beautiful and sacred space.
