Don’t know what an “aleph” is? Want to read along with the prayers in Hebrew? Know the basics but want to go beyond? Join us for opportunities to learn, explore and expand your Hebrew with Temple Beth El clergy and education staff.
A “Hebrew Marathon,” designed to teach rudiments of the language to adults in a single day is back again! The class is based on the premise that most adults already know some Hebrew words and phrases, such as mazel tov, l’chaim and shalom. Students are taught to read them in Hebrew letters, then given tools to learn more Hebrew on their own. Additional Hebrew classes on prayerbook and conversational Hebrew will follow.
$18 per person, includes materials and lunch. Register below.
