Since the creation of the state of Israel in 1948, the act of protest has been intrinsic in Israeli Society. In honor of Israel’s 74th birthday, Professor Paul Liptz will examine the changes in protest from German Reparations to Women at the Wall. Professor Liptz is a social historian has lectured at Tel Aviv University, Hebrew Union College and around the world. He is capable of translating complex issues and realities into language we can all understand. Paul was born in Zimbabwe and has degrees from the University of Rhodesia and Hebrew University.
