Lunch & Learn: High Holy Day Boot Camp with Rabbi Steve Moss

Like any large undertaking, a boot camp can be a great way to prepare for the High Holy Days. Join us to explore overarching themes of the Days of Awe, delve into specifics of Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur and intellectually and spiritually prepare for the Holy Days ahead.
Class on August 1 will be taught by Rabbi Jessica Spitalnic Mates. Classes on August 8, 15, 22 and 29 will be taught by Rabbi Steve Moss.
Rabbi Dr. Steven Moss serves as interim rabbi to Temple Sinai in Delray Beach. He served B’nai Israel Reform Temple in Oakdale, Long Island, NY as its rabbi for 47 years and was honored as emeritus. He is chaplain to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Department, Harbour’s Edge retirement home in Delray Beach and Sunscape Assisted Living in Boca Raton. He served as chair to the Suffolk County’s Human Rights Commission from 1992-2019 and was founder and co-chair of the Suffolk County Anti-Bias Task Force. He was also founder and Director of STOPBIAS, the only educational program for hate crimes offenders in the county.
