Beth El Early Learning Center and Religious School moms are invited to join our monthly Rosh Chodesh meeting at Liumi West Retreat, just 5 minutes from the Beck Family Campus. Cantor Shammash will lead a mindfulness practice through a unique nature walk and meditation. Our Cantorial Soloist Michelle Auslander Cohen will then be in conversation with Cantor Shammash to discuss how mindfulness practice can help us find fulfilment and nurture our growth in our individual life journeys.

Cantor Lizzie Shammash serves Adath Israel in Philadelphia and is a graduate of the Jewish Theological Seminary. Her love of Yoga and Judaism found their authentic fusion through studies with the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. She also teaches a free yoga class online every Monday morning for IJS that regularly attracts over a hundred participants. She keeps a busy concert performance schedule and is a member of Divas on the Bima, a touring show she founded with three women cantors.
