Torah Study with Rabbi Nir Barkin: Israel’s New Government – What Will it Mean for Israel? What Will it Mean for Us?

Rabbi Nir Barkin serves as Senior Rabbi at Kehilat YOZMA in Modi’in, one of the largest and most dynamic Progressive synagogue communities in Israel.  Appointed Senior Rabbi and Executive Director of YOZMA in 2017, Rabbi Barkin’s leadership has helped the congregation grow a thriving day school and kindergarten, and is a remarkable leader for Progressive Judaism in Israel.  Prior to his ordination from HUC-JIR in 2007, Rabbi Barkin served as a Shaliach (emissary) to the Jewish community in Milwaukee, WI and previously had a very successful career in Israel’s high tech industry.  A talented novelist and musician, Rabbi Barkin served in the Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces, and graduated from Tel Aviv University.
