Based on the book, Wise Aging: Living with Joy, Resilience, and Spirit, this Wise Aging program for our members 50+ will meet weekly to discuss issues and challenges related to growing older. We will explore Jewish teachings related to aging alone with additional modalities such as mindfulness, meditation, contemplative listening, art and music. Please join us on this inspiring journey.

Amy Grossblatt Pessah is a rabbi, author, spiritual director. She has served various communities and demographics across the country as a Jewish educator for over thirty years. Amy received her Master’s degree in Jewish education from HUC-JIR and her semicha from Aleph: Alliance for Jewish Renewal. Throughout her career, Amy has studied a variety of religions, participated in interfaith work, and has been a student of mindfulness and Jewish mysticism.
Rabbi Dan Levin has served Temple Beth El of Boca Raton for 25 years. As the congregation’s leader, Rabbi Levin works to create a community where each member is inspired to lead a life of spiritual richness, meaning, purpose, and service. He seeks to build a congregation whose mission is to synthesize the innate questions and moral challenges of the world in which we live with the wisdom and power of centuries of Jewish tradition.
Judith Simon has been in the Healthcare Industry for over 25 years . She was the founder and owner of a licensed Home Care Agency and upon moving to Florida has worked for the University of Miami and Florida Atlantic University. She facilitates support groups for those living with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson's and is the Board Chair of the South Florida Chapter of the American Parkinson's Disease. Having taken the Wise Aging class and then becoming a co-facilitator she can’t say enough of the benefits personally, emotionally and spiritually.
Rabbi Steve Moss is a resident of Boynton Beach. He recently retired as Rabbi of B'nai Israel Reform Temple on Long Island after serving there as solo rabbi for 47 years. He has a graduate Certificate in Gerontology, and his Doctor of Ministry project was on Jewish reminiscing among seniors in Assisted Living Facilities. He has led many groups over the years on various subjects and has taught programs on meditation. He loves cycling, studying, and traveling.
