SUMMARY:Countering Active Threat Training
DESCRIPTION:Each year in partnership with SCN (Secure Community Network) we offer a security training course for Temple members. We are now hosting a Countering Active Threat Training to provide additional opportunities for those in our community to be better prepared in the event of an active threat situation. \nCountering Active Threat Training is a comprehensive training program developed specifically for houses of worship. In this training\, participants will learn how to: \n\nIdentify the steps to survive an active threat incident: RUN\, HIDE\, FIGHT\nUnderstand how to prepare for an active threat event\nKnow how to respond to law enforcement’s arrival\nCommit to action during an active threat event\n\nRegister\nThis program is made possible by the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and the Secure Community Network. The Secure Community Network (SCN) is the official safety and security organization of the Jewish community in North America.
