DESCRIPTION:Please join Americans for Ben-Gurion University (A4BGU) for their 2025 South Florida Annual Benefit. \nFeaturing: \nProf. Dorit Nitzan\, MD\, MPH\, RD (bio)\nHead\, School of Public Health\nDirector\, Master’s Program in Emergency Medicine\nChair\, Food Systems\, One Health and Resilience\nBen-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) \nProf. Nitzan currently works with NGOs\, local governments\, ministries\, and UNICEF by applying research and developing solutions for the wide-reaching impacts of the ongoing conflict. \nNoa Shuker (bio)\nBorn and raised in Beer-Sheva\, Noa is a third-year medical student at BGU.\nWith over 250 days served in Milium (IDF Reserves) in the last year\, she has been a central contact to the families of wounded soldiers in both Soroka and Barzilai Hospitals. \nIn a post-October 7th reality\, BGU is the anchor institution and engine for growth in the Negev.
