DESCRIPTION:Project 24 began because of the war that started Oct. 7. It is an online global networking organization that anyone and everyone can be a part of helping. While it aims to help those who are suffering in Israel\, their ultimate goal is to promote friendships and connections of Jewish people all over the world. Project 24 is passionate about bringing purpose and meaning back to the lives of those in Israel who have lost so much\, and in the process\, connecting the world’s Jewish community. There is a $24 fee to join\, which allows access into all of the incredible projects being done. \nLearn more about this organization in a special zoom call on Sunday morning\, March 31 at 10am for about one hour. The founders of this organization will share what they have been working on – you can ask questions\, and continue to build a relationship with the people who run it. DESCRIPTION:Gleaning is helping to collect unharvested crops to be donated to help our community’s hungry and poor. Join the Temple Beth El for this hands-on opportunity to support those in need. We are going to be out in the fields bending and lifting\, so those who want to participate need to be able to do so comfortably\, lifting as much as 30 pounds.
