The relief center is organized and run by volunteers from “Brothers and Sisters in Arms” – one of the leading organizations of reserve soldiers and offices who headed the 2023 protest movement.\nVisit a hospital or Rehabilitation Center to learn about their work during the current emergency. Speak with staff about how the war has affected the hospital.\nMeet the team behind Israeli podcast Rays of Light: a podcast that captures the stories of women who survived the attacks of October 7th.\nHostages Square has become a national center for the struggle of the return of the hostages. SUMMARY:Teacher Assistant Program
DESCRIPTION:Our Teacher Assistants’ (TA’s) work as a partner to the teacher and role model to the students in our classrooms. Ta’s are encouraged to share their skills while leading and also supporting the learning going on in the classrooms. Because these teens are helping younger students learn in a Jewish environment\, we feel its important they are also are Jewish learners themselves. Teens must be enrolled in Teen Beyachad or Tuesday Night Classes in order to be a teacher Assistant. This is a year long Commitment where teens can receive either Community service hours or a stipend paid out twice a year. Participants in this program can choose to work Sundays / Tuesday afternoons or both. \nIf you have any questions about this program\, please email Ross Glinkenhouse.
