DESCRIPTION:This is a book club for those in grades 7-12 who say NO to book Censorship. Through the year we will have regular book discussions\, create art\, and culminate our experience with a Shabbat Service giving our perspective on book censorship and what it means for our future. \nReading list in no particular order. The Diary of Anne Franke\, My Sisters Keeper\, The Perks of Being a Wall Flower\, The Kite Runner\, and Looking for Alaska. The books that have been chosen all have been on a list for censorship or to be banned somewhere in the United States. \nAll Banned Book Club Meeting Dates:  \nAugust 27\, October 1\, November 12\, January 21\, February 11\, April 5th (Censorship shabbat led by teens)\, April 7 \nFor more information about this program\, please contact Ross Glinkenhouse. \nJoin The Book Club
