DESCRIPTION:Our Teacher Assistants’ (TA’s) work as a partner to the teacher and role model to the students in our classrooms. Ta’s are encouraged to share their skills while leading and also supporting the learning going on in the classrooms. Because these teens are helping younger students learn in a Jewish environment\, we feel its important they are also are Jewish learners themselves. Teens must be enrolled in Teen Beyachad or Tuesday Night Classes in order to be a teacher Assistant. This is a year long Commitment where teens can receive either Community service hours or a stipend paid out twice a year. While it aims to help those who are suffering in Israel\, their ultimate goal is to promote friendships and connections of Jewish people all over the world. Project 24 is passionate about bringing purpose and meaning back to the lives of those in Israel who have lost so much\, and in the process\, connecting the world’s Jewish community.
