Susie Federman is a South Florida native and a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. She has spent much of her professional career working with Jewish organizations, where she finds deep fulfillment in helping people of all ages connect with their Jewish roots, traditions, and values. She has extensive experience in engagement, program & event planning, customer service, teaching, and mentoring, while contributing to vibrant Jewish communities across Florida, as well as in California and New Mexico.
Susie first joined the Temple Beth El family in September 2023 as a Kindergarten teacher in the Religious School on Sundays. She later became a full-time member of the Engagement & Programming Team, a role that brings together her passion for building relationships and her love of creating meaningful experiences. She also serves as the coordinator of Beth El Circles, overseeing more than 30 groups that help members connect through shared interests. Known for her optimistic, energetic, and nurturing presence, Susie’s passion for bringing people together makes this work a natural fit. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming community where every member feels connected, valued, and truly at home.
Outside of work, Susie enjoys dancing, karaoke, concerts, cruises, and taking her children on fun adventures. She also loves channeling her creativity into designing custom gifts and writing song parodies.
