Join Rabbi Laila Haas for a 4 week journey through moments in time that have shaped the Jewish narrative.
Monumental moments to be explored: creation, revelation, wandering and promise. We will study texts from different time periods, perspectives and create our own commentary on the texts. We will ask questions like: what elements do these moments share that keep them relevant and meaningful? How have they shaped our own understanding of Judaism? What about these moments do we find challenging and how does that inform the way we see the world through Jewish eyes? We will go beyond the surface of each “monumental moment” and explore the deep richness, insight, spark and wisdom that each posses.
