Don’t know what an “aleph” is? Want to read along with the prayers in Hebrew? Know the basics but want to go beyond? Join us for opportunities to learn, explore and expand your Hebrew with Temple Beth El clergy.

Our “Hebrew Marathon” is designed to teach rudiments of the language to adults in a single day! Most adults already know some Hebrew words and phrases, such as mazel tov, l’chaim and shalom. Students are taught to read those familiar phrases in Hebrew, then given tools to learn more Hebrew on their own.
