Beth El Circles and Chavurot are the perfect way to get involved, make new friends, and build community through the things you love most. These small, interest-based groups bring members together around shared passions—whether that’s movies, trivia, running, cooking, or something entirely unique. Each Circle has its own leader who organizes gatherings, either in person or on Zoom, making it easy to jump in and connect. It’s a simple, fun way to be part of Temple Beth El’s vibrant community—starting with what you already enjoy.

Committees
Committees are a great way to get more involved and help shape the future of Temple Beth El. Working in partnership with our professional staff and Board of Trustees, committee members share ideas, offer feedback, and help guide important programs and initiatives. Any member in good standing is welcome to join—no prior experience needed, just a willingness to contribute and collaborate.
Our current committees include:
Chaired by the Vice President of Religious Activities
Collaborates on the enrichment of religious activities, including worship, holiday honors, interfaith relations, Holocaust awareness, and Israeli affairs.
Chaired by the Vice President of Engagement & Programming
Encourages and promotes membership recruitment and retention including congregational and community outreach, and adult programming that builds meaningful communal relationships with the Congregation.
Chaired by the Vice President of Social Justice
Any temple member with an interest in Social Justice is welcome to be part of the Social Justice Committee. Together, we will live out our Reform Jewish values through two important and interconnected efforts – social action (helping meet people’s needs today) and civic engagement (advocating for long-term change). We will work toward a world that is safe, just, free and fair.

Supports and makes recommendations of the Congregation’s investments and portfolio management.
Chaired by the Vice President of Development
Helps create and establish yearly fundraising opportunities for the Congregation.

Identifies and establishes youth activities and educational programs for the religious school students and families.
Chaired by the Vice President of Mausoleum
Collaborates on ideas that enhance the advancement and management of the mausoleum.
