Kira Melamed-Vainberg grew up in Ukraine and made Aliyah to Israel on her own at the age of 19. She graduated from the Hebrew University faculties of Media Communications & English. Most of her career was centered around non-profit organizations. In 2015 she moved from Israel to Florida with her husband and son, and they live in Boca Raton with their two cats.
In the clergy office, Kira coordinates various aspects of the cantorial department and assists the rabbis as needed. She also serves as a digital content producer for many of the Temple’s livestreamed events and services.
Kira is multilingual and is passionate about languages, which she puts to use at and outside work, currently focusing primarily on Korean. She loves dancing, traveling and learning about other cultures.
