Want to join a Mah Jongg Circle at Temple Beth El, or start your own, but don’t know how to play? Now’s your chance!
Mah Jongg is more than a game—it’s a wonderful way to meet new people, connect with fellow members, and have fun around the table.
In these classes with a certified instructor, you will learn the basics, rules, tips, and strategies you need to get started. By the end of the four-week session, you’ll be ready to join the table and confidently call out those two magical words… MAH JONGG!

Dates: Thursdays 10/15, 10/22, 10/29 and 11/12Â
Two different time slots to choose from: 4:15 – 6:15 pm or 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Cost: $80 for the 4-week session (that’s only $20 per class!)
