Social Justice Committee Meeting

We are proud to welcome congregant Meredith Ockman Tache to speak about legislative changes impacting the LGBTQ+ community and what we can do to make a difference.

Meredith has a storied career in action and advocacy, having worked and volunteered with Compass, The LGBTQ+ Community Center of the Palm Beaches, Child Welfare Services in Palm Beach County, National Council for Jewish Women, Planned Parenthood, the Women’s Health Foundation of South Florida, and the Women’s Foundation of Palm Beach County. In recognition of her trailblazing efforts, she was honored with the 2011 Feminist Leadership Award from the Veteran Feminists of America.

Additionally, our incredible Social Justice Circle leaders will share accomplishments from this past year and brainstorm about the work we can do in the year ahead. Any Temple Beth El member with an interest in Social Justice is invited to attend!
