Cantor Lori Brock serves as the senior cantor of Temple Beth El—the congregation where she began her career in 1997, and the community that has nurtured her extraordinary journey. From her early days as a cantorial soloist to becoming a fully invested cantor through the Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion, she has worked to create a synagogue where music is inspiring and accessible, where each person can find their voice in worship, and where all can connect to the Holy One.

She has created beloved programs such as Chanukah Under the Stars, the innovative virtual High Holy Day video productions, and established Friends of Music and the Arts, which has helped build a thriving cultural center for the congregation.

As she achieves the milestone of becoming Cantor Emerita, she looks forward to continuing her connection with congregants through pastoral care, life-cycle moments, teaching, and special programming on a part-time basis.
