Join us on the morning of Selichot for a transformative Elul mikveh ritual at the beach. As we prepare for the High Holy Days, we gather at the ocean to immerse ourselves in the renewing and rejuvenating embrace of mayim chayim, living waters. This sacred act symbolizes our spiritual cleansing and readiness to begin a new year.
We will enter the water together and engage in a special rejuvenation ritual. Shabbat experience to follow with song and prayer connecting us to the themes of introspection, repentance, and renewal.
Want to travel together? Transportation will be provided for $10 per person from Temple Beth El Schaefer Family Campus; please meet at 9:00 am if taking the bus. If you prefer your own transportation, meet at the South Beach Park Pavilion at 9:30 am.
Please wear a swimsuit or water-friendly clothing and bring a towel, sunscreen and hat.
