CIT Summer Program 2026 Application

Monday, June 1 | 8:00 am - Friday, July 31 | 5:00 pm

What is a CIT?

A CIT is a rising leader, provided with the opportunity to assist the Beth El Early Learning Center summer camp counselors with many aspects of the camp day.  CITs are role models, and in addition to working with the children, will engage in continued professional development skill sessions throughout the summer.

What are the responsibilities of a CIT?

CITs follow the direction of the head counselor. Examples of some responsibilities may include: helping students put on their socks and shoes, engaging with the kids during water play, reading to the children, helping to prepare for classroom activities, and providing support during the implementation of classroom activities.

  • Every Wednesday, will include a check-in meeting and lunch provided by Temple Beth El.
