Countering Active Threat Training

Each year in partnership with SCN (Secure Community Network) we offer a security training course for Temple members. We are now hosting a Countering Active Threat Training to provide additional opportunities for those in our community to be better prepared in the event of an active threat situation.

Countering Active Threat Training is a comprehensive training program developed specifically for houses of worship. In this training, participants will learn how to:

• Identify the steps to survive an active threat incident: RUN, HIDE, FIGHT
• Understand how to prepare for an active threat event
• Know how to respond to law enforcement’s arrival
• Commit to action during an active threat event

This program is made possible by the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and the Secure Community Network. The Secure Community Network (SCN) is the official safety and security organization of the Jewish community in North America.
