Dancing in the Streets of Jerusalem: Simchat Torah Shabbat

“The streets of Jerusalem shall once again be filled with the sounds of joy and gladness” (Jeremiah 33:11).
On Simchat Torah, our community comes alive with music, dancing, and joy as we celebrate the gift of Torah together. We will consecrate our newest Religious School students, bless the babies born closest to this sacred day and experience the awe of unrolling the entire Torah scroll. Following the service, we will dance the Torah scrolls from the Sanctuary into a transformed Milestone Hall to look like the golden streets of Jerusalem. With an amazing DJ, pizza oneg, and dancing for all ages, we will fill the night with joy, connection, and Jewish pride.
