Give Kids The World (GKTW) is an 89-acre nonprofit “storybook” resort located in Central Florida. It provides children with critical illnesses and their families a weeklong, cost-free vacation experience. GKTW depends on hundreds of volunteers annually to help run its operations, whether it’s scooping ice cream for breakfast or assisting with its rides and attractions.
High school students have the opportunity to volunteer at Give Kids The World, a resort in Orlando that partners with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Volunteers will dedicate their time on Saturday and Sunday mornings, while also enjoying a meaningful weekend experience. The program includes a Friday night Shabbat gathering, a fun Saturday dinner, and Havdallah to close the day. Transportation will be provided via bus for the entire weekend, and the group will be chaperoned by Sydney Reisman, Temple Beth El’s Teen Engagement Specialist.
