NFTY- Southern Tropical Region Fall Kallah

General Kallah information and Registration 

  • This event is for 9th-12th graders
  • October 20th- 22nd
  • 4:00pm on Friday October 20th to 12:30pm on Sunday October 22nd
  • Hosted by Congregation Schaarai Zedek in Tampa
  • Cost is $250
  • $25 off before Sept 20
  • $75 off if they have their own Busch Gardens pass

Home hospitality event: 

This means Schaarai Zedek Temple members with host teens in their home, feed them, and transport them to and from the Temple.

Teens will have an opportunity to put in a house request in the registration

Some context

To give some background for those that don’t know, for decades NFTY STR operated with Temple ran home-hospitality Kallot. This was an integral part of the success of our region and left a huge impact on our teens (and our hosting families)

We are trying everything we can to bring teens back to Kallot and while this may seem a bit “out there”, this will be one of the best parts for our teens

Registration is open. Early bird registration is $25 off until September 20th  

Registration is through Coleman’s Campminder system.

  • Including but not limited to Goat Yoga(!)
  • Busch Gardens
  • Carnival

  • Carnival snacks
  • Carnival games
  • Mobile Gaming Truck
  • Havdallah

Sunday 

  • Breakfast at Temple
  • Camp Jenny Experience
  • Its not goodbye, its see ya later!
