Breast cancer has deeply affected many lives within the Jewish community. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the students of Beth El Early Learning Center will proudly take part in our annual “Pink Walk” to raise both awareness and funds in the fight against this devastating disease. Through this meaningful event, our students will also explore the mitzvot of G’milut Chasadim (acts of loving kindness) and Bikkur Cholim (caring for and visiting the sick), instilling values of compassion and support for those in need.
In 2024, we’re looking to beat last year’s goal and raise $1,750.00 for Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading breast cancer organization. Together, with the spirit of G’milut Chasadim and Bikkur Cholim, we are confident that we can come together as a community to make this year’s Pink Walk a success!
