Religious School Family Gleaning

Join us for a meaningful morning of gleaning, the practice of collecting leftover fruits and vegetables from farms after the harvest so the food can be donated to people in need. Volunteers will work together to gather fresh produce that might otherwise go to waste and help ensure it reaches local food banks and families facing food insecurity. It’s a powerful way to give back to the community while spending time outdoors and making a real impact.
All religious school families and teens are invited to participate. This opportunity counts for community service hours, making it a great way to give back while earning volunteer credit.
After we finish gleaning, there will be an optional brunch where everyone can relax, hang out, and reflect on the morning together.
The exact location will be shared the week of the event, but the gleaning site will be in the Delray Beach area near Lyons Road and 441.
Come get your hands a little dirty, make a difference, and help turn leftover crops into meals for those who need them most!
