Guided by the words from this week’s Torah portion, Shoftim, which teach us “Tzedek, tzedek, tirdof – Justice, justice you shall pursue,” we will celebrate the social justice work of our congregation, and honor the Co-Chairs of The Giving Tree of Temple Beth El, Inspired by the Legacy of Myra Singer. We are guided this week to pursue justice so that we don’t simply respond to injustice, but we actively seek to ensure a more just, more fair and more equal world.
