Thankfully today modern science gives us the tools to screen for cancer risk factors. We will learn about the power of a supportive community in times of illness from Sharsheret, a nonprofit organization with the goal of supporting Jewish women diagnosed with breast cancer and ovarian cancer.
We will be hearing from breast cancer survivor Tracey Hecht. Tracey was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in May 2020 and is also BRCA1+.
Tracey Hecht is a 37 year old mom and wife originally from Maryland. For the most part Tracey’s toddlers run her life, but she also has her own business, Tracey Hecht Coaching, LLC, offering running coaching, personal training, and group fitness classes. When she isn’t running, watching the Bravo channel, or at the beach, Tracey enjoys spending time with her husband, Ron.
