Rabbi Michael Marmur, our Wisdom & Wonder speaker, will participate in our Shabbat Evening Service. We will also hear from The Giving Tree as they launch their annual Holiday Wish List Program.
In this week’s Torah portion we read of the Binding of Isaac, often read as the classic example of religious certainty. In this session, and in Rabbi Michael Marmur’s remarks during Friday night Shabbat services, we will highlight doubt rather than certainty, and suggest that doubt is to be embraced as a crucial tool rather than demonized or rejected.
