Soldier On is a true story about what it means to become a woman, and how hardships can forge strong character and lead to a purposeful life. Bracha Horovitz will tell her story: growing up as the State of Israel was just becoming a country, serving in the IDF, participating in the Miss Israel beauty pageant, and getting married and raising a family in Israel. After moving to the US, Bracha’s son was born with severe disabilities, and hardship suddenly became a permanent aspect of her life. Instead of saying “Why me?” Bracha turns it around and says “Why not me?” and lives a life of resilience.
