Elinor Josephson

Director of Engagement & Programming

Elinor is a seasoned Jewish professional with many years of experience in the local Jewish community.  From 1995-2009, Elinor was the Director of the Levis JCC Summer Camp in Boca Raton.  After leaving the JCC in 2009, Elinor went on to become the Camp Administrator for the URJ Six Points Sports Academy, a Jewish sleep-away summer camp in Greensboro, North Carolina.   Most recently, Elinor was the Vice President of Programming and the Camp Director for the Mandel JCC in Boynton Beach.   Elinor holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Hebrew with a Minor in Judaic Studies from the State University of New York at Binghamton. She also earned a Master’s degree in Jewish Communal Service from Brandeis University.

Elinor and her husband Jay live in Boca Raton and have been members of Temple Beth El since 1999. They have two children, Emily who also lives in Boca Raton and Joshua who lives in Washington DC. Elinor and her family are avid sports fans, especially baseball.
