Steve was a congregant at Temple Beth El for 10 years prior to becoming the Executive Director in 2012. Before joining the Temple staff, Steve was Vice President and General Counsel of Kaufman Lynn Construction, a commercial general contractor. Steve and his wife Ivy are high school sweethearts and they have two wonderful children. Steve was born and raised in Miami, Florida and he attended the University of Florida where he majored in Economics. Steve also holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and a J.D. from Boston University. In his spare time, Steve enjoys cycling, kayaking and playing soccer.
