Sydney Schneider graduated with a BA in Psychology from Salisbury University in 2020. She held several board positions for the university chapters of Hillel and Habitat for Humanity. Prior to her undergraduate studies, she participated in Young Judaea Year Course, attended Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, B’nai B’rith Perlman Camp, & was an active member in B’nai B’rith Youth Organization. These experiences helped shape her Jewish identity and love for the State of Israel.
Sydney has worked for the Development department at Temple Beth El since March 2024, and brings a wealth of experience in social work, documentation & compliance, and customer service. In her role, she uses her compassion and warm demeanor to create an uplifting experience for donors as they make contributions to the temple. She is excited to form more connections with members by helping them feel appreciated and “at home.”
Sydney was raised Potomac, Maryland. She currently resides in Deerfield Beach with her cat, Daisy. Outside of work, Sydney enjoys concerts, camping, going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, and is a member of Temple Beth El’s choir.
